Hi, my name is Sandra and I have fibromyalgia

I was once a graphics technician.
I was once a student.
I was once a teacher.
I was once an art coordinator.
I was once a union rep.
I was once a teacher governor.
I was once a reading remediation teacher in North Carolina.
I was once a special needs teacher running a key stage one unit for children with speech and language difficulties.
I was once coordinating a comenius project with special schools in Slovenia and Germany.
...then I got shingles.

I'd had chicken pox very badly in my mid twenties, then the nasty virus exploded back out of my spine to torture me when I was 40.
A few weeks after I thought the shingles had left me, the pain started...and it's never left me. They say life begins at 40, I feel like mine ended.

But as one door closes, perhaps another one opens.
I've had the time to return back to my love of art in a more regular way and thanks to my iGadgets (usually my iPhone) I can create whenever and wherever I am.
Which is usually either in a recliner or in bed.

Welcome to a window on my world.
